Properties

TOFA is an oily liquid of light yellow color, consisting of a mixture of high molecular weight unsaturated organic acids obtained by rectification of crude tall oil.

The composition of the mixture includes:

Oleic;
Linoleic;
Linolic acids and their isomers.

TOFA are used:

As a reagent for flotation of ores
In the paint and varnish industry and printing industry
In the production of corrosion inhibitors used in petroleum
industry
In the production of lubricants
